Structure












The highest authority in the Public Service Union is our Annual General Meeting (held every year between the months of May and August) where the general membership elects the Council of Management and vote on various motions and resolutions. In between Annual General Meetings, the Council of Management, which meets every first Saturday of the month, is the decision making body. The Council consists of: - President, First Vice President, second Vice President, Secretary General, Assistant Secretary General, Treasurer, 4 Councilors and the Chairperson from the seven Branch Executives. The Branch Executives consist of :- Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, treasurer and 3 Councilors. Finally, the departmental liaison officer (in each department) is the first point of contact for union members.
